1st Day of School!

I was so excited this morning for the first day of school! There are 29 students in my 4th grade classroom!  Most of the day was spent going over rules and refreshing kids on classroom procedures.  However, we did have time to do a couple get to know you games, and an art project.  I had a lot of fun getting to know the kids and look forward to learning more about them in the next few weeks.  The rest of the week will be spent slowly working the students into daily routines.  Mrs Stolski, my cooperating teacher, and I have planned to have the students write letters to us about their summers and what they like to do, as well as some more fun get to know each other games.  Of course there will also be plenty of time for math, reading, and science! The rest of the week should be fun! :)
